The cell takes relevant steps in identifying the demands of the industry and prepares the students towards this need. Therefore, the placement cell works with students to improve their logical, analytical, and verbal skills, providing them with an upper hand when sitting for interviews.
To assist students, develop and implement successful job search strategies, the placement cell works with faculty members, department heads, and administration to integrate career planning and academic curriculum, as well as coordinate Project Work/ Summer Training/internship programs.
Well-known and reputed organizations viz. Med plus, Copious Health solutions, Generic plus, Cipla have shown confidence in our students. This cell continuously strives to help students pursue their career goals by acquiring employment-seeking skills and ultimately attaining desired employment. This is accomplished through building a strong partnership among students, alumni, faculty members, and industries.
A placement cell will always have information about the available positions, companies, and upcoming opportunities. This allows the students to better plan their upcoming days for training and briefing purposes.
The main aim of the placement cell is to act as a contact place and facilitator to arrange campus visits and conduct recruitment processes for the purposeful placement of graduating/Post-graduating students of the college.
The cell also seeks opportunities for the betterment of institute and industry interaction through participation in institute-industry interaction programs and by inviting experts from the industry and related fields to deliver guest lectures on various aspects and also provides guidance to students for their better placement and careers.
By understanding the nature and requirements of work, Placement cell arranges different Industrial visits, Hospital visits, Medicinal Garden visits, and visits related to social work, which helps students understand the different requirements of patient counseling, dispensing of medicines, communication skills at the workplace. In addition, to place students for training Programmes placement cell conducts regular follow-up and monitoring of student’s performance, student feedback on the direct industry training experience and re-assessment of industry requirements in order to establish and promote a long term relationship with industry. The placement cell is also responsible for final placement of the students. Feedback from the industry is collected by this department and passed on to the concerned Head of the Department for continuous improvement of teaching / learning processes in the Institute.
The placement coordinators check for specific skills and attributes and help students in honing these specific attributes. The objective of this department is to empower and serve the student community. Keeping in view in the interest of students, industry visits and events are planned and students are encouraged to different work places. Placement cell is also tries to collaborate with the different industries to arrange the campus interviews and creates job opportunities for our college students.
Placement cell make sincere efforts to shape each student personality and enable them to be practical and positive in life and face every situation boldly. Placement cell arranges an Expert lectures on different Personality Development aspects like Behavioral skills, Communication skills, Time management, Critical thinking attitude and Team Work and many more
Career counseling, individual personal problems, and education counseling services are also made available to students. Students are prepared for various aspects like CV writing, interview skills, communication enhancement etc. The dedicated faculty involved in career counseling also helps overcome stress, personal problems etc.
A Placement Committee, consisting of faculties representing different departments has been created and each department decides the guidelines for the placement activity in their department.
