Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm) is a two-year full-time programme designed to train students to play an important role in Hospital Pharmacy, Community Pharmacy and assist the Pharmaceutical Industry at various levels.
The programme is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi, recognized by the Government of Maharashtra and affiliated to the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE), Mumbai. The institution equips students with professional knowledge, practical skills, ethical values and a strong foundation for careers in healthcare and the pharmaceutical sector.
Affiliation
The college is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi, recognized by the Government of Maharashtra and affiliated to the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE), Mumbai, Directorate of Technical Education (DTE).
Admission Procedure
1. Sanctioned Intake
60 students per year.
2. Eligibility
- The candidate should be an Indian National.
- The candidate should have passed Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Science with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects Mathematics or Biology (Botany & Zoology).
3. Reservation
Reservation shall be in accordance with the Hon. Supreme Court judgement dated 31/10/2002 in W.P. (C) No. 317 of 1993 and directives of the State Government from time to time.
4. Centralized Admission Process (CAP)
- Information Brochure published online by the Competent Authority.
- Online application form submission as per schedule.
- Upload required documents.
- Document verification through e-Scrutiny or Physical Scrutiny.
- Publication of Provisional and Final Merit List.
- Seat Matrix publication before each CAP round.
- Online Option Form submission for institute preferences.
- Seat allotment and reporting to ARC.
- Strict adherence to admission schedule.
CAP Rounds
- CAP Round I: Candidates can fill option forms and participate in seat allotment.
- CAP Round II & III: Follow similar rules as Round I. Refer to the official Information Brochure for details.
Final Admission at Institute
- Report to allotted institute as per schedule.
- Submit required documents for verification.
- Receive system-generated admission confirmation and fee receipt.
Institutional Quota & Vacant Seats
Vacant seats after CAP are filled by the Director/Principal of the institute as per rules.
Admission Cancellation & Fee Refund
- Apply online for cancellation.
- Submit signed hard copy of cancellation application.
- Admission is considered cancelled once the request is submitted.
